As the president and founding member of the World Famous Superfriends crew, DJ Mars single handedly changed the DJ scene in Atlanta.
Currently touring with famed recording artist Keri Hilson, Mars' career has taken him in numerous directions. Starting as Outkast's original DJ, and touring with everyone from Ne-yo, Ciara, Usher, Monica and Kelis, DJ Mars is no stranger to rocking crowds. To date, Mars has personally spun at every club and major Platinum Party in Atlanta ranging from artists like Jay-Z and Diddy to Jermaine Dupri and Beyonce.
Simultaneously, DJ Mars (aka Marshall Thomas) kept his business acumen intact by growing the World Famous Superfriends organization into a multi-million dollar business with DJs spinning from Florida to Japan and encompassing radio, tours and mixed-CDs in their packaging.
In November 2010, DJ Mars was featured as a cast member on BET's new reality series, “Master of the Mix”, a competition among seven of the countries most renown DJs.
WHERE ARE YOU RUNNING NEXT | DON CANNON
As a celebrity DJ and producer, Don Cannon is responsible for a new sound of major hip hop anthems storming the airwaves over the past couple of years. Cannon is an internationally known DJ who can be heard spinning to elite entertainment industry crowds from Atlanta to Tokyo. His production credits list a who's who of hip hop's Top 10 rappers including Outkast, Young Jeezy featuring Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Ludacris featuring Floyd Mayweather, and Fabolous.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Donald Cannon began his foray into a musical career at the age of five with his first set of turntables, a mixer and a karaoke machine. Upon high school graduation, Cannon left his Philly hometown to attend popular HBCU Clark Atlanta University, and used those 4 years to sharpen his talent and develop an understanding of his audience. As a former member of the Aphilliates, a group of DJs who are Philly natives and CAU alumni, Cannon forayed into the unofficial title as Music Director for Sirius Satellite Radio's “Shade 45” on “The Aphilliates; The Streets Is Watchin”. He also co- hosted a show on Atlanta's WHTA HOT 107.9 FM, and most notably helped to popularize the Gangsta Grillz mix-tapes series.
As a certified celebrity DJ and proven Atlanta tastemaker, Cannon received “Atlanta's Best DJ” from the prominent TV program FOX's Good Day Atlanta. His relevant experience and proven track record demonstrate that Don Cannon is not only a proven influencer of brands like DGK, Belvedere and Coca Cola, but also a major brand himself.
